On Saturday 6th August, I had the honour of presenting Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal with one of my paintings. I stood at the top of the jetty in Cowes as I handed over the painting to Her Royal Highness and had a chat about my work. She loved the name “A Murmuration of Sails” and said that she had seen me and my work as she passed by my stall earlier in the day.
Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence also spoke with me and I was so pleased to hear that having been sent a photograph of the painting in the morning, they had already decided where it is going to hang.
