This piece is both a sculpture and a painting. The canvas is made from layers of old sails; with raw edges, unique coloured stitching and Hepworth-inspired tense strings. It features soft splashes and delicate washes. The pale sunset colours contrast against the stark Payne's grey sail silhouettes.
